Ariessy of Midgard — L.B. Arthur

Set in South Wales, UK

Seventeen-year-old Ariessy Taylor has spent her life hiding.
But when her father begins wasting away from an illness no healer can explain, Ariessy’s grandmother becomes desperate enough to break an ancient law—and she needs Ariessy’s help to do it.
The plan should have remained a secret.
It doesn’t.
When whispers of forbidden magic reach the authorities, Ariessy is brought before the Veurrúlfar, a feared wolf-shifter elite sworn to protect humanity at any cost.
But they discover that Ariessy is in far more danger—and is far more important—than she ever imagined.

Now Ariessy must find the strength to accept who she is before the next name written in ash is hers.

Ariessy of Midgard — a Norse‑inspired YA urban fantasy filled with hidden magic, wolf‑shifters, mystery, secrets, and slow‑burn romance.
